Are you in Firefox? That forced borders on me for a while; I think we fixed it. I'm at work and so don't have my files, but you can check my CSS for the image classes it uses; I don't think I have borders any longer.

I figured it out right after I wrote that tweet. It was complete user error. I defined the class (photos) without naming the element (img) to apply the formatting. It's fixed now.
But it looks like I know who to turn to when I embark on a more thorough design overhaul. :)
